Art and food, a brilliant combination - Kashi art cafe, fort kochi

Hope you have got already the gist of what I am going to blog about ðŸ˜Š

Welcome to the Kashi art cafe at Fort Kochi in Kerala where you will experience a perfect, unique combination of delicious, lip-smacking food and amazing art in all forms by the talented artists from here and abroad in a zen-like ambiance of natural greenery!

The corridor is paved with old (/antique, yes, who thought those chunky logs could be artistically laid like this!) wooden railway sleepers interspersed with pebbles, used in the olden times on railway tracks replaced with concrete slabs in modern times, awesome creativity!

Outside the cafe at the intersection with the Burgher street this graffiti created during the Kochi-Muziris biennale will stop you for a snap for sure!

Yes, all those are real! A plantain that you will see commonly in Kerala grows peacefully here. Hope it will bear fruit soon!

Taste their famous chocolate cake immersed in sweet chocolate sauce, sipping hot chocolate on top of which there is a beautiful latte art of flowers, occasionally biting gently the cheese sandwich, meditating, immersed in the beauty of nature that engulfs while glancing at the various art forms all around that ignites the imagination of even the ordinary, casual art lover!

A perfect place to unwind, have a good conversation about art, read a book peacefully, study the art exhibited, enjoy the art at the gallery, meet, chat and get to know the artists and art lovers locally and internationally, update that travel journal unleashing your creativity in the perfect setting with those historic sites in the vicinity!

This place will not burn your pocket; the portions are generous.

What more you want for today ðŸ˜Š?

We did not have any plans to go to this cafe when we went to Mattancherry. On the way to the beach our cousin suggested this outlet for evening tea.
There are many beautiful paintings hanging on the walls and the art installation at the entrance is stunning. More pictures upon our next visit :)
Thanks Andrew :) I like art lovers :)

I'd love that cup of coffee to start my week with! So tempting, I can feel the aroma, too!
The interior reminded of a nice cafe in Pathos, Cyprus. With a patio - a nice place to stop by for a fresh or coffee.

Cool comment, Irina :)
Cyprus is a beautiful country.
Thank you :)

Perfectly lovely place! I can easily imagine people can relax and unwind themselves there. The latte art is exquisitely designed, I can feel the foamy milk at my lips, and the cakes are mouth-watering. The use of railway sleepers is popular for garden design in my country.

Thanks for your kind comment. You seem to have mistaken me for Ruma whose blog, Calligraphy in the Landscape, I highly admire.
