The beautiful Marine drive, Kochi

Some photos of Marine Drive, Kochi!

There is a beautiful walkway extending from the bridge.

Marine drive is at the heart of Kochi. This is a popular hangout place in Kochi. These pictures were taken during a boat ride in the backwaters.

Cool and refreshing!

Many thanks for this beautiful comment.

Kochi (Cochin) in Ernakulam district in Kerala is known as the queen of Arabian sea because it is the hub of sea trade. This city is now undergoing rapid infrastructure developments like metro (Kochi metro).

I have blogged a lot about the recently opened Lulu mall in Kochi. Hope you have read it.

Thanks a lot for this wonderful comment.
It was a cloudy day when we went for boating in the backwaters in front of Marine drive. Luckily it didn't rain!

I am really thankful to you for this beautiful comment. Kochi is very much vibrant now-a-days; everybody is thrilled to see many iconic structures being built.

Hope you have read my posts about Lulu mall, perhaps you can add some comments about the hypermarket where those interested in cooking will find everything they need all under one roof!

I have +1d and tweeted your post of falooda today ! It is super cool, literally ! mouthwatering, indeed ! Agar agar is medicinal.

Thanks once again.

I'm not much of a boat person; I get sea sick :< But I've enjoyed your tour. Have a good week ahead!

Oh, this boat ride took only about one hour or so.

Just get accustomed to boating by going for short rides gradually prolonging the time. For added protection take a tab for motion sickness :)

Many thanks for dropping in here and writing all these beautiful comments.
